Hector was my friend. We met during search and recovery operations in Uruguay in the early 1990. I spoke often with Hector and he never mentioned a fight with cancer. Hector made numerous trip between Uruguay and my home in Puyallup Washington. His death hits me hard but I know he is now on his greatest adventure. Thanks Hector for all the memories.

I'm sure that this will bring you good memories of the rescue from the Graf Spee. Hector was a fighter and now is diving into the ocean of the eternity, in peace and happy.

Please, notice what Hector is pointing to... a bullet hit on the heart of the Eagle... Curious, uh?
