I'm curious if Odyssey Marine Exploration gets the right to salvage.

Looks like a Judicial Review for the inconsistent handling of this project by government agencies has been awarded to the foundation that own the wreck.

Hopefully what has been going on behind the scenes will be exposed and the Foundation allowed to appoint a contractor to recover, record and preserve the at risk items.

They did not have the Judicial Review.

The U.K. government pulled permission due to the threat of a private judicial review application by Robert Yorke.

“Of around 300 shipwrecks discovered by Odyssey. . . not one artefact has been sold.”

ummm, where does that come from?

Odyssey has discovered 300 shipwrecks? I seem to recall they have discovered about 3, not 300.

One can buy original artefacts from the SS Gairisoppa, the Tortugas wreck, and the SS Republic from their website and other websites ??

What about the never sold an artefact statement?

Odyssey Marine never sold one artifact at auction. Instead they got rid of excess inventory through de-acquisition.

That is very entertaining! I am curious what you are trying to say :dontknow:

They sell artefacts directly thorough their online store. (at least the stuff they did not sell to Monaco)

Glad some people still manage to see the guns after the British Government decided to leave the site for nature and trawlers to destroy.
