I'm new to this site, but I have a cannon that I'm told was found in Santa Cruz Bay and the cannon has been sealed ? Does anyone know where this cannon may have come from, and why it would be in the bay ? Thank you sooo much for any information you have to offer ... George AKA By JorJ ...

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard. You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

If you mean sealed, as in conserved, I am suspect. The finish does not look like it has been conserved. Looking at this pains me to an extent.

If you are asking for help in identification, bore diameter, length, and weight are necessary.
