what I was trying to show is that there is still a concern for the islander wreck....and , yes, a ship from mexico was going to be used to get the bow section of the islander....before it ran into problems and sank. It is common practice for big salvage companies to use a good vessel in many different waters of the world. Obviously, that ship will not be used now. but, the wreck is still owned by the current salvage company and will probably be salvaged in the future....soon.
Back to the original intent....there are scores of shipwrecks in alaska...but, where?

i believe some of the best are on the aleutian islands and are old japanese junks...
