THIS IS YOUR 5 WEEK WARNING!
5 WEEK COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN.
Who's in? We don't want to find out on the 27th that there's just 9 people, 300 lbs of food and a tub of rum...

What we have:
Chris D'Arpino and friends are going to supply 50 lbs of hamburger, 50 lbs of hotdogs and with a little luck, the ribs.
Marc Littleton is bringing 20 lbs of potato salad.
Chris is also picking up the entertainment. Yay Chris!
I will be arranging the tables and chairs as well as the Portapotties.
-------------
What we need.
Money is always helpful.
in total...about another 100-125 lbs of side dishes will be consumed.. heavy on the cookout types of dishes...light on the salads.
>>If you want your container back..write your name on it and remember to take it home. Best to put everything in disposable foil trays WITH COVERS.
Condiments - ketchup, mustard, etc. NOT Condom mints, please.
Desserts if you want to bring such...
Soft drinks, bottled water and ice in coolers.
Adult beverages if you so desire.
Donation items for the auction section of the afternoon's entertainment...
A good attitude, good stories and good times!

This is still a party, people...just a party with a purpose!!

I did a head count at various times at the last three cookouts. Last year I counted 380 heads around 2:00pm. So Bill I don't think you have to worry about attendance. More likely we have to plan on a larger venue for next year. Like the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando! :hello2:

Bill there were plenty of attendees from the 1715 Fleet guys including the great John Brandon and even Erich Schmitt let John handle a 1715 eight escudo royal. He wouldn't let me near it!

Is anybody out there????
Only 3 Saturdays from Now. Yikes, where has the time gone?

John, Is there any need for pulled pork.
Is there a list of items or help needed we can volunteer to do or bring?

(BTW-I'm trying to remember to ask a local co. about a portolet.)

Pulled Pork is good. Any spare tables and chairs, Coolers and ice, firewood for the grills that are in the pavillion, a pocket full of money and your smiling face. Bill might think of something also.

Thanks John... got to go raise a 60 ton crane that was pulled off a barge while attempting to salvage a 600' shot of chain and anchor that Carnival Cruise lines managed to lose. Gonna recover the crane..( wtf..it's junk now...) than raise the chain and anchor from 100'.
