Went over to vero beach Sunday to do a little metal detecting. Found some modern coins, a silver toe ring .925, 2 buck tails - with good hooks on each- someone left their tackle in the dry sand a day or two before (will use when the time comes), two brass keys on a key chain - encrusted, a few pop tabs (older style), and this at the waters edge. Truly amazing.
See picture with chocolate chip granola bar for size comparison.
I hope its real. Can't believe it.
I didn't find any cobs in the area that I searched.

Well, what is it looking like to you?
Cause I haven't any idea but was expecting something along the lines of the pre-Columbian copper face mask found in Melbourne last(?) week.

Nah the chewy granola bars are more recent than the crunchy ones although the preservatives do make them last a long time[emoji23] Nice rock by the way...

perhaps a tape measure is easier to use as a scale.

I found a pirate pistol

Don't worry, they will all be jealous when you find out it is a golden llama under the coral!
