Ed Krajewski (Old Man here on Tnet) passed shortly after midnight, early this morning. Agflit, myself and another former member here on Tnet went to see him yesterday at his home. He's had a long battle with cancer. He can finally rest.

Ed was one of the first friends I made on this forum whom I ended up actually working with on various endeavors. He will be missed.

Darren,

Thanks for letting us know. OldMan Ed led many adventures in his years and shared some amazing stories.

Here are some of the pictures from our trip to Cedar Island. We didn't find gold, but we will always treasure the memories.

I lost touch with him over the last few years and spoke to him last year while battling his cancer. He was full of knowledge and always optimistic he was on the trail of something big.

Rest in Peace Ed and God Bless! You will be missed!

I am very sorry to hear of Old Man's (Ed's) passing! He will truly be missed here on Treasure Net by all that knew him and conversed with him either via posts or PM's. My deepest sympathies go out to Ed's family and all his' friends and hope that Our Heavenly Father will soften the grief and sorrow of all who knew Ed!!

I never met him in person... but I enjoyed his posts here and he was always nice to me and would respond / reply / like posts... we also chatted a few times in private as well here.

So, I am very sorry to hear about loosing a Tnet friend.

Not sure, TH. He was a commercial diver and an Army Ranger. I'm not aware of any marine shop, though it's possible.

Was just curious, he and I always drank beers and talked at the picnics when I was there.

Fair winds Ed as you sail into the next journey!

Ed was such a gracious person, was always willing to help out where/how he could.

He lent me, a guy he barely knew a $4k detector to track down some leads!
I guess he now knows where it's all at!

Blessings to his family and friends.

Prayers for his family. He was a wealth of knowledge. We had a few private conversations.
He will be missed.

Our last conversation:

Michael,
Thanks for your kind words. I really appreciate it. If I make down to Texas in the next few years . We'll have to get together for a few drinks.

As far as my Health? Hell, with some of the Places I've been and some of the things I've done. I'm Lucky, I've lived this long. So I have No regrets, other than for my family.

I never knew the Old Man personally, but one can tell by posts and things said of him here that he was a good man and lived life doing what he loved. God's Speed to him and his family and loved ones during this time. R.I.P.
