Theres a forum thread on t-net about hunting with MD's at Lake Okeechobee.its a no no.you will get arrested.I think its in the beach and shallow water forums.Florida state still owns submerged lands,even if the lakes dry up.

I lived on Lake Lanier for many years, I saw the water line so high when I was a kid that we would take the boat out and rescue squirrels with boat paddles while they were trying to cross the lake but I have never seen it this low. My brother plans to go look for his senior ring he lost 30 years ago. Mine is somewhere in 6 mile creek, an area in the south area of the lake.
