Thanks Bum Luck! From the stamp, it looks as though it's from the archive in Seville. Maybe it's just me, but without seeing it more closely, something seems odd about it. I'll look to find a better copy.

Here's an interesting notation on the bank west of "Caio Marques"; "placer de Caio Marques"

We all know what happened on that bank, but the word "Placer" translates out to: pleasure, delight, enjoyment, joy, treat, or picnic.

Now that bank was no doubt a pleasure for Mel Fisher, but it certainly was anything but that for the Spanish.

Does anyone want to take a stab at the possible meaning of it?

The fact that the place name "Marques" had stuck around for a century suggests strongly that there was a memory of the 1622 wrecks also. Please speculate on if there may have been some attempts to search for the wrecks too.
