I was doing some cleaning in my workshop today and found some old british history magazines in a box up in the rafters.the mags date back to 1970.lots of pics of ships and some real photos of ships, people, weapons all the way back to the early 1600's.plus copies of real documents about the spainish armada battle.lots of interesting stuff in 10 mags.way too much to scan.if anyone is close to me,they are welcome to come an look at them.seems i am forever finding old books here as the prior owners of this house were high school history teachers.i found several other old books dating back to the early 1800's.my attic is next!whos knows what i will find.
Chagy: Thanks for the great pictures. Makes me wanna share as well. Following is two drawings of Dutch flutes and the photos are of a flute(with dimensions as the first drawing) wrecked just south of Helsingør(Elsinore from Hamlet). Its guessed to be late 1600 or early 1700. Photos are taken by Henrik Manley. Enjoy.
