Very sorry to hear of this. My deepest sympathy to all involved...
I never had the chance to meet PegLeg, but I do remember reading, and enjoying, some of his post. He will be missed...
Thank you for informing us Russell.

My condolences to Cyndee and the rest of the family. I'm glad that Don got to see his Expo dream fulfilled, and I regret that I was unable to meet him in person. He was a fine man.

It was a thrill to meet Peg and Cyndee when they came to visit the Conquistador at Cape Canaveral. His presence there was quite a thrill for us all. Our deepest sympathies to Cyndee, Russell and the family.

OMG,
I have not been on here in a while. I can't believe it. All of our best to Cyndee and the rest of the family. We were looking forward to seeing him in St. Augustine or at the next expo.
All our love and best to the family,

Russell, You and Cyndee Know me as John Redman, but on Treasurenet, I'm Aquanut. I'm so sorry to hear Don has passed. I just talked to him about a week or two ago about our joint ventures on the two projects we were working on. I intend to keep them going, as I know Don would want it. Cyndee, if anything comes of either project you will be the first to know. I'd call but I'm sure you are inundated with them right now.
Russell, could you please post the arrangements so I and others can make plans.

I cannot fully express myself in my own words. Don was about as true as they come and I am a better person for knowing him. Please give this poem to Cindy on my behalf:

I am standing on the sea shore,
A ship sails in the morning breeze and starts for the ocean.
She is an object of beauty and I stand watching her
Till at last she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says:
"She is gone."

Gone! Where?
Gone from my sight - that is all.
She is just as large in the masts, hull and spars as she was when I saw her
And just as able to bear her load of living freight to its destination.
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me,
not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says,
"She is gone",
There are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout:
"There she comes"
- and that is dying. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.
Bishop Brent 1891

Take comfort in knowing that Don now has all the answers that he worked so hard to get answered in life. He knows where every shipwreck and speck of gold hides and will enjoy watching the rest of us chase our tails looking for it.

Godspeed Don,

Pcolaboy

I always enjoyed Don's post, having met him last year was an honor. He was always filled with energy and had such a love for life and family. You will truly be missed my friend. As you pass over the bar and out to sea I will remember you as a man of true integrity, adventurous and very knowledgeable in the things that you did best!

My sincere condolences to the family

Cyndee and Family-
My sincere condolences. Peg will be missed by
all of us here, without a doubt. Our world is a worse place without him. Maybe there is some comfort in the fact that there are people literally worldwide who are today thinking of you and wishing you and your family solace, and joining you in missing Don. He'll be in our thoughts for a long time to come.
Mike.
