Hello I'm Russell Welty Don Webb's son-in-law. I have been given the grievous task of informing you that Don Webb aka Peg Leg has passed away on this day of Nov. 20th at about 3:30 a.m. after a two day battle with serious medical complications. His wife Cyndee would like to thank you all for the friendships and comrodery he had on this forum, it meant a lot to him. He enjoyed meeting those of you that were able to make it to the 2007 expo. He was always an adventurer and was never afraid to take on a challenge.The family thanks you for your support and prayers. I would like to leave you with this poem by Robert Frost that best describes him.

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.

In his many posts I saw a man with a true passion for treasure hunting.

He will indeed be missed.

I am thunderstuck by the news. He was so full of life and the stories that he told me at the Expo would have made a great book he was even able to point me in the direction of treasure not far from my home here in Missouri. Cyndee I am so sorry, he was quite a character and will be missed by all who met him. May God bless Peg Leg, Norman.

God brings people into our lives for a reason. PegLeg always took the time to communicate with anyone who was interested in his Passion. I appreciate the opportunity to have him as a part of my life. I will miss his posts. Our family will keep PegLeg's family in our prayers. God Bless you Miss Cindy.
