I detect the history: I've visited archives up & down the entire US East Coast, Bahamas, Jamaica, Kew, The Hague, etc. Have yet to go to Seville or S.American archives.

?We hope that modern, cutting-edge technology will help us identify these pirates and reunite them with any descendants who could be out there?

Who would claim them? I wouldn't want anybody to know I had a pirate in my family.

There is a supposed descendant of Anny Bonny out there (possibly here on treasurenet) whose family won't release papers proving the connection. If I were related to her I'd want that story out!

I personally have a family link to Lancelot Blackbourne, the preacher-turned-pirate at the turn of the 17th century. Kinda cool to think there's a drop of pirate blood in me.

You are way too nice to be a pirate, Tammy.
