Has anybody heard of a salvor, wrecker, treasure hunter named Philip Janca

supposed to have done some salvage in the Bahamas.

Does anybody know more about the salvage of cannon for scrap during WWII?

It means they agreed for transport by working for a certain time without pay.

I should have added the date of the salvage in the Bahamas. "Somewhere around 1973" or let's say 1960 to 1980.
What if the Phillip Janca of the ocean power article was a descendent of Philip Janca the treasure salvor?

Pretty sure its the same person and his son opening this business in Florida..mentions him running submarines down the jamaica to gather marine samples...but who knows!

It seems that the TN site is getting a make over from what the higher powers are saying in the replies.
