Anybody know of a data base for 18 to 19 century shipping seals?

When you say shipping seal, do you mean the discs that identified tax payment on goods exported, or is it a seal as in security seal, to identify mail or strong boxes were not tampered with?

I would say tax payments. Easiest way is to show you what came off an 1800 wreck.

The copper coin looks to be company money, a trade token, they are collectible, best search old auction brochures to identify. ASC, Atlantic shipping company, or American or African???

The seals are common, should be able to ID them from the Names / Language. Our Archive is not complete yet but there are a couple in it.
