Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

Hello Scubasalvor, Mad4wreck, Diving Lynn and Chagy......and all the others!

I hope that you who buy my book will enjoy it. It took me almost ten years of meticulous research, investigation, diving and travelling. But I loved every minute of that and what you like to do, it does not make you tired......

What I would like to tell to all of you from Treasurenet is that exchanging information and discussion about different topics with you and especially thanks to great experience of many of you helped me very much to finish this book. And not only that - I found new real friends here. I am extremely glad and grateful that I am member of this Forum. THANKS!

Lobo

Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

Book looks great Bobadilla! Did you consult with Walter Cardona of Puerto Rico for any of his research? I met him at a 3 week shipwreck archaeology course on Big Pine Key in 1978 where I also first met Duncan Mathewson and Jim Sinclair. We have all stayed friends ever since.

I have some friends in the D.R. navy if you ever need them.

Safe diving,

Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

Hello Pirate Diver,

Thanks for your nice words about my book, I hope you will enjoy it! I have had some email correspondence with Walter Cardona while working on my book. I consulted with him facts about famous pirate Roberto Cofresi who was born in Puerto Rico and also about Bobadilla lost fleet. He is great researcher and historian.

Thanks very much for your offer, one never knows when some good friends from DR navy could be on hand.....

Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

I tried to get a copy of the book at the Mel Fisher meeting in Sebastian, FL on Friday but Terry Armstrong only had 2 copies left and they were both promised to someone else. I will be submitting my order for the book soon.

Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

Hi Mad4wrecks,

Thanks for your interest in my book. The truth is that the first lot of books were sold almost immediately, but as I know Terry Armstrong will have another lot ready for sale by next Thursday, I think that there are still some available on www.lulu.com., too.

Regards,
Lobo

Re: New Book by Bobadilla "Hidden and Lost Treasures in the Dominican Republic"

For those of you who receive the EnRada newsletter, you may have seen a review of Lubos' book by Dave Crooks in the last issue. Be aware that you can not send a check or money order to Signum Ops at my address and get the book. You have to make your check or money order payable to Terry Armstrong, not Signum Ops. At the moment I have two copies, and will have five more in a week.

Terry Armstrong
435 Nora Ave.
Merritt Island, FL 32952

Also, when you order from www.lulu.com, the book is printed and shipped, whereas, if you order from me, I have some copies on hand which I can usually ship in a few days time, media mail. The charge total, including postage/handling is $19.95.

The book is occasionally listed at www.abebooks.com, but they seem to have trouble registering my inventory from month to month and I can never tell when they will list it. Today, I can not find it listed, but I will correct that tomorrow. When you buy from Abebooks, I get the order, but they handle the credit card billing for me and take a cut off the top.

You can always get the book at lulu using this link:
