Interesting, I'd sure like to see the video from the ROV. Thanks Jeff...I rarely go searching for shipwreck related anymore, I just wait for you to post them. :D

I think the author got carried away with that title. :)

I don't. He just needed to be a little more precise. Within the article is the sentance “This is the holy grail of lost ships on the Great Lakes.” which is far more accurate.

Living in southern Ontario and hailing from the Niagra region originally, I am well versed in the early conflicts of our two nations. The HMS Ontario (for the short time it was in service) dominated the area and helped to prevent or at least discourage you scrappy Americans from invading our sovergn territory. That and the mere sound of us sharpening our hockey skates across the border should keep you pesky Americans in line. LOL :tongue3:

I think it would be cool if they were to bring it up...I would also like to see this submersible that he built....

I want to raise it. Talk about a nice historical exhibit, can you imagine?

Wow!!! Wouldn't that be a hoot? RAISE THE ONTARIO!!

That would give us all a museum a lot closer than the VASA!

Remember....if it's difficult, it HAS been done.........if it's impossible, it WILL be done!!
