I have a 1970 D Ken Half that I would like to trade for a circulated Franklin or Walking Liberty half dollar. PM if interested.
Actually the 1970d is a sought after coin since they were only made for collectors and not released into circulation (NIFC). The premium for this coin makes it right on par with the melt value of a 90%'er and actually sell a little higher than the S mint (proof) of the same year. How many do you have or have you ever found?Cleetus said:I'll bet you would......seeing how the 1970 D isn't a 90% silver and the Franklin and Walking Liberty were only made as 90% silver coins. You can buy a Franklin for about 11-12 bucks on ebay if you just want to go buy one.
