this is an old coin set in a more modern dish. i think i see a date of 1657 on the coin (in the left picture, under the two lions), and the ruler indicated by the coin (Ferdinand III) was holy roman emperor until 1657, so if genuine, the coin itself would seem to date to the last year of his reign.
the practice of using old coins as decorative elements on silver dates back hundreds of years, though it seems to have been most popular from the late 19th through early 20th century. i would suspect your piece dates to the later end of that spectrum, though without seeing the piece in person i couldn't say. these small dishes were popular probably because they were fairly easy to make.
you may want to scrutinize the silver for any small hallmarks, numbers, or maker's marks, which would really help in dating this piece. marks can appear on the front or back.

The first pic is located on the bck of the plate. The second pic is of the front side. The writing is on the side of the coin itself. So only the top half of the name is visible. So what appears to be the bottom half of the name is just the reflection from the top half. I hope this helps. And thank you for your helpful feedbck.
