Bennett Brothers, Liverpool, England (1841-1844)
Don....
Thanks. Is there any information on these brothers? The only information I could find about Bennett Brothers from Liverpool is that they were potters but no info on their silver works. And I'm curious about stamp - H(hand)H. Didn't find any information on that.
Also the inside of the cover has a strange nut like in old times.

Old post, I know but just to correct this ID.

Like most of Bennett Brothers wares, this piece was made for them, not by them. The actual maker is given by the Sheffield mark above. The two 'H' letters separated by an open hand are for Henry Harrison & Co, producing plated goods in Sheffield between 1873-1881
