Angus MCkirk Sluice

What do you think about these sluices? I bought one and have used it twice so far. I have no problem setting it up, I just cant help but think if I'm losing gold without the moss!!! I like it because of the fast cleanup, but the question still is there!!! I bought the alaskin flair the big one for $125, and am thinking about trading it for a keene river sluice. I have gotten gold....but still I feel a little "uncomfortable" with it.

i have never used one but heard alot of good things about them. hear they catch fine gold like the Le trap. good luck and let us know how you do. take care , ron

they say the angus,and letraps are great.my friend has one and loves it.he swears he don't lose gold .but you can always pan ,check-your tailings.as with any sluice proper set up is the key.

I like and use the McKirk slightly more than the LeTrap. I get better results that way. I have friends that use these items the other way around for the same reason according to them.
