Went out with 2cmorau and Adventures for Gold for an over night trip to the Sierra's! What a beautiful area and a great time! This is the second time using the Bazooka gold trap and I have to say I love this sluice!!! Catches the fine gold, pickers and small nuggets. The grizzlies (bars over the opening) only allow up to maybe a 1/2" material to pass through. Saves much time from classifying the material. I literally bucket or shovel straight on to the sluice and it does all the work. I have the medium size one. It needs a very good amount of flow in order to work correctly. I might add some v mat to better identify for sampling purposes.

Drop 2cmorau a line if you want to head out with Adventures for Gold... hands on way to learn from the best!

Hey Dagreat
Thanks for the kudos, but if i was anygood i would have put you on top of more gold, still nice shine
since you can brave the ice cold water, i say, i should bring the griphoist and move the larger boulders out of the way for you. the stump thats in the water has been there a long time and bedrock is about 5 feet. lets team up for another trip

the last box i did that day, not only showed good color, but weighed in at just north of two penny
total weight for the day was 3.5 not bad still have the -30 to go through, shaker table is acting up
may have to inquire about a blue bowl LOL
