Can anyone tell me what GPH size pump would be needed for a recirculating system setup on a keene A51 sluice. I plan on making my own spray bar from pvc and could I use a valve to control for proper flow without damaging the pump. The creeks around here are dry from drought conditions which are great for digging out the bedrock but not for running a sluice. This is going to be a home setup to bring back to run. Thanks for any info

you can use any GPH trash pump. all your doing is moveing water to your sluice/spray bar,as long as its fairly flat and not needing more head preassure to push the water to far up hill. the problem comes in when your trying to move the water up much higher up the banks.then you need tobe looking at a pump with higher head preassure.
