Well I don't know if you would consider it a long tom but I was working an area one time with my A52 but the water fluxuations gave me a headache because I had to keep moving the sluice, cleaning it each time and killing production time. I had an AM Explorer and an RCM Drop Riffle which I bolted together and made a 5 1/2' AM/RCM sluice. Works great and catches everything. If the water level changes, it's easy to clean up and reposition to get back to work.

I have been thinking about buying another two EZ sluice box's to go with my current one.

They are easily connected to make an ultra lightweight long tom.
