I wish 20 buckets of dirt here would give me just 1/10th of what you have there.

Sadly, I'd be lucky to get 1-3 little colors off of 20 buckets (central Texas).

Ha ha - yeah we don't find that kind of quantity in Maine from 20 buckets. I ran 7 buckets of 1/8" classified dirt one day this past season and got 20 or so flakes.

Well within the last week, I've managed to pull 2.8g out of my honey hole. I moved a lot of material.

Went and re-ran some blue bowl tailings through Letrap. It was supposed to be -50, think some bigger stuff got through though. Apparently Keene is unable to make a 50 mesh screen with proper tolerances so I got a 50 mesh screen that says "made in China". It appears to be superior to the Keene screen:icon_scratch:, for now.

2/3 bucket '-50' BB tailings.

lt1.jpg

Finished that then ran 3/4 bucket of -4 mesh from what used to be a decent little spot.

That spot isn't quite what it used to be. High water stripped away some overburden. Unfortunately it took a few small trees (roots and all), along with the gold to who knows where. Down the creek somewhere for the next generation to find I guess. All that's left is bare bedrock.

Green means go red means stop. Red is slightly disturbed still lighter color though. Hard to tell in this pic, you can tell in the pan though, water turns completely different color brown. Doesn't make a lot of sense since current flows right to left.

My thought is you should have gander down stream and find the first drop out locations. All that stuff is right there in one little place right now just waiting to be had.
