I know this question have a lot of variables, but I wanted to get some educated guesses at what the GPH (range) would be for running a stream sluice -- not running it as a highbanker, just set up in a stream. Does not matter if you are running a Keene, Gold Hog, or fluid bed sluice. If you have an educated guess at GPH of water running though your sluice with a good setup, I would be interested in hearing from you - especially you folks that have run pumps and have a sense of what 1,000 GPH looks like compared to 2,500 GPH. Thanks...

A happy Bazooka Sniper uses about 4000gph I'd guess. Sound right??

40 to 60 gpm in a 10x 36 and bigger is about what I'm running.

80 gpm won't run a prospector

Kevin, I thought most highbankers run with 1500 to 2500 GPH pumps... I was thinking that a sluice in the stream would equal to or even a little less flow to operate.

for a 10 inch banker I feel like 2500gph is low for a riffled sluice. Decent for gold hog.

I say more than 40 gpm
