Iv herd that the silicone mats are awesome for catching fine gold, I used a Tuff Stuff deep V mat for a mold and made a couple of the silicone mats and built a 10x60 sluice for Lake Superior black sand....

Have any of you guys ran silicone mats?? any advise on my little set up, thanks in advanced...

Might want a "coaster" for the bottom of the table legs. I could see em sinking into the sand, wreaking havok on your angles, and blowing out your gold.

Looking forward to your results.....
Nice build on the box by the way....

Have you determined the water flow, GPH and angle your going to use yet...?

From the pics i would start with 1500 GPH and about a 7 degree angle.... Run some material and adjust accordingly.

I have a 1100 pump for this run, and was thinking about getting a Y to run 2 1100 pumps, i figured 12 degrees with the 1100 but wasnt sure about it, whats your suggestion using one 1100... thank you...
