I don't know if you camp, but I remember this place. It's been awhle, (OK, moe than a while) you may want to look them up to make sure they still are doing this.

Paris Mountain State Park: Campers at Paris Mountain State Park, near Greenville, can enjoy panning for gold in an organized program on the fourth Saturday of each month. Campers must book in advance and stay a minimum of two nights. Facilities include rest rooms and hot showers.
