walterboro area

Fed up with the cold, moving to the walterboro area. How is the hunting over there? I have heard most relic hunt, I like coins.

First, Welcome to SC ! I am about 30 miles south of you in Ridgeland on I-95. The natives here relic and coin hunt at the same time because where the relics are there are old coins to be found also. I once found a 1793 chain link large cent on a relic site. If you like we could meet up and do some hunting sometime. The winter is our time to hunt, no snakes,ticks or insects.

I live here in walterboro, I haven't done much MD'ing yet but I do a lot of sharks teeth hunting on the Edisto. I could think of a few places to search though tomorrow when I'm fully awake lol

I have hunted in the walterboro area many a time. Lots of relics and coins. Both at the same spot.
