Most likely fake cob but am very curious Help please

No this was not a detecting find, believe it or not, I rummaging for picture hanging stuff tonite and stuffed in my antique pedal operated sewing machine in one of the drawers I found this coin..Now,all I can remember is I got this at a yard sale bout 5-10 yrs. ago, I know nothing about it... I thought maybe it might be real ( whatever it is) or maybe its from like Mel Fischers stuff that they still sell from the atocha.. I would like to know what it is and if its a fake or if its real..and anything else anyone may know about it... I do recall someone saying they did melt silver from the atocha and made fake coins from the silver..so any info would be greatly appreciated..Oh sorry on the big pictures but I am getting used to this blasted camera.

also since the condition of the lettering is so good, I kinda think its either a total fake or made from silver from one of the Fisher finds and sold as a replica, any info would be appreciated.

    thanks in advance

Wow, its hard to tell, but It doesnt look like an atocha coin to me at all. How much does it weigh? What is the size in MM. My real Atocha 2 reale is big and very heavy in a gold bezel, 10.6 grams. Might be a real spanish 2 reale?? The mounting looks to be cheap gold plated junk metal. Coin may be junk silver alloy as well. There is no way to test silver with an electronic tester so you just got to go by weight and size and look at the edges if you can see them.

Here are the 14K Atocha replicas to compare. They are made with bar silver. http://www.atochajewelry.com/atocha_pendants.htm

Do you see 14K on it anywhere? Do you have the velvet box it came in?

Ok I looked at it under the magnifying glass, please remember I have bad eyes, I think there is a slight marking on the side of the loop at the top..but what leads me to think its fake is the fact that everything is so clear on it, like no wear on symbols or letters, yet the edges that I can barely see, look rough to me. This came as it is..no box, no papers. I did clean it up last nite and its all bright and shiny now.. I like it even if its fake.. I would like to know what the writings mean and where would the date be on this.. I am clueless completely as well. soon as I find where I misplaced my scale I will also weigh it too.. ya know when ya put something away and then ya cant remember where ya put the dang thing.. but it feels heavy too.. so we'll see, I like it anyways.

ok booty your front --has the 1571 to 1652 era "greek cross" design used by the potosi & early lima mints ---now the sheild design on the flip side is that of a mexico city mint design of the 1700 to 1746 era (1715 fleet)--- thus you got a 1622 "atocha" front --with a "1715" fleet era back -- it very well might be one of those repoduction coins made from a bar silver recovered from the wrecks by the fisher group and sold long ago to tourist folks who visted the meausem--the silver came from real shipwreck bar silver --however they were made in such a way that no one could palm them off as real "shipwreck coins" to anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge of spanish coinage. -- ithey are a pretty bit of jewelry and real shipwrecked silver was used to make em .

or it might be a knock off copy of them. --if the holder is good quality (real 14 k) then most likely its a real "mel fisher" type repo coin.

I think its also a reproduction.

Im not too good with cob markings, but it appears to be portraying a 2 Real, Shield type, Phillip V. Mack, what is the "R" and the "M"? It doesnt look like the Mexico mintmarks that I have seen.
