    Possible Cob?

    Hola chaps

    Found 2 days ago in Spain. Is it a cob? any info appreciated.

    In addition its just under an inch wide where it hasn't been clipped and its the same thickness and similar weight to a 1791 cob found earlier.

    I couldn't tell you the weight as I havnt got scales to weigh coins. The best I can say is it feels slightly less weight than a silver 2 real.

    The "VI" could be a counterstamp used by Philip IV to revalue coins to six maravedis by stamping "VI", as shown here:
