    what's a spanish cob worth?

I'm sure they are varied in price because of size and shape and markings, but ballpark dollar figure for most cobs is what?

    Bell:
Minimum value is the intrinsic value of the silver or gold. It goes up from there--into the thousands. The values depend on the mint, assayer, denomination, condition, demand and a myriad of other considerations. If you have a specific coin in mind, there are many here who could give you their opinion as to its value--assuming good pics are submitted along with the coin's weight and average diameter.

Cobs can't be "ballparked". There are way too many factors. If you can post a high resolution picture we can start speculating. As with everything a cob is only worth what someone would be willing to pay for it. Go look at some of the already completed auctions on ebay. If your cob is like most it will be worth between $5 and $5000.
