Since 1987 our Jupiter Wreck has continued to yield coins but the question, "Where's the rest of the Ship?" has remained unanswered...  There are 2 layers of shipwreck scatter and we are equipping the "Enterprise" to excavate the primary treasure layer.  Join with us this year!

Nice work. How very fortunate of the host to find a dated Potosi 8 Reale on his first outing - With a short shaft, no less.

    Sometimes you got to give
the guys with short wands a break!

The truth of the matter is we had two
Fisher Pulse 8X's one set up for land shooting
and one set up for underwater work.

For those of you who only shoot on land - it is easier to
zero in and dig a hit when the loop is closer to your
    digging hand!

When you get the right hit... it can effect your wand.

That coin was relatively free of corrosion and crust, lucky lucky.

I was under the impression that most early Spanish silver found on the beaches would be black sand cookie like discs?
