Woohoo!
Good for you man.
It looks right.
That little bit of southeast wind and swell helped you out I see.
Looks like we might get some more help.
Make sure you cover that area real good.

Also.. when your done soaking it.. put it in some water and baking soada to neutralize the acid.
It will help the silver in the long run.

I'm really hoping that system comes our way! I'm already planning out a system to get on the island when a hurricane comes. I'll keep ya posted on the outcome of the "cob".

I grew up in NJ and I've heard that a good spot around me for cobs is Corson's Inlet

Well it's obviously summer so the earlier you get there the better. There's isn't a lot of parking and its a slight walk down on both the North and South sides.

The walks fine I'm more worried about the parking

There's very little parking on either side so u need to get there early.

Yeah I think that should be fine. That whole area is unguarded beaches. Most of the people going down there are fishing, meeting friends who bring in boats, or avoiding the crowds. In other words its kind of a party area so don't be surprised when u hit a lot of trash. I've never detected in NJ since I just started this hobby a few months ago. My late grandfather on the other hand was on the Cape May beaches every day for years. My gmom still has box about 8" long 4" high and 4" wide full to the top with diamond rings he found over the years. If you want good quality modern I'd also hit Cape May and Stone Harbor. Even OC since you'll be right there at Corson's. good luck!
