Mexico.

Been slippin' lately :dontknow:
Thought I would post my latest addition to my collection, I like to snag either (some Auction site) or find (Beach) the unusual pieces. (like overweight cobs and underweight cobs. :laughing7:)

Here's one that you rarely get to see...I can understand an overdate but 3 times? Can someone explain on this type of coinage.
3 overdate strike Mexico 8 Reales...
1629/8/7

Scott,
Interesting that your seller noted the coin as "Chinese" and didn't mention anything about the various strikes.
I think you caught him napping; great buy.
You might consider showing the pic to Sedwick and ask him for his opinion.
Don.....

Don,
Post the link you say as "Chinese" and not mentioning anything about various strikes.
Post it and let's see. Saying the word Chinese when it never was mentioned in the description on this coin was wrong.
There are buyers on this forum, and those words can ruin a sell.
Not sure why you would even post that Don, honestly.

I may be napping on this one, but I just wanna see what you came up with.
Post the actual post where "Chinese" was used if you could or if you can find it. Thx.
Chinese was never used in description at all.
Because I have run into a brick wall, cannot find any mention of such, no typo's, no edits, no photos of matching coin, Nodda.
Maybe it just looks like a Chinese fake, you seen one you seen 'em all? or they all look the same to me? LMAO
Can't wait.

Scott, I sent it to you in a PM.
Personally, I don't think you were napping; I think the seller made a typo and may have thrown off other lookers.
I think you made a good deal and that the seller didn't know what he had.
Don,.
