I recently inherited this coin/pendant. Maltese cross with dots, says 1682? BAR CINO CIVI. The back does NOT have a person or symbol on it. The only similar coin I found was a silver coin from Carlos II, Barcelona. For this reason, I feel the coin is a reproduction, but I know my relative frequently traveled to Nicaraugua years ago. Has anyone ever seen this coin in gold or in jewelry form? I can't find it for sale anywhere and it's age/authenticity is driving me crazy!! Help! IMG_1161.JPG IMG_1162.JPG

A replica made for jewelry is my instinct.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I can't figure out why this image would be replicated. Sounds like that year was a bad time for Spain. And why can't I find similar jewelry to purchase? I still wonder from when and where it came from.
