Hey guys I found this cob detecting on a local beach with loads of history! I posted this on another thread but decided to post it here too. Fantastic 1/2 reale. Would love to hear some backstory of the history of the location without you giving it away. Was it found in the high and dry part of the beach? There is no corrosive loss.

Well it sure was found on a beach, dry section. I'd say a good 100 feet away from the water. This is a place that dates back to the late 1490's. Yup, the discovery of this island! People may know of this location but not many people practice our wonderful hobby of MD'ing. So I have a good advantage on this.

A solid 1752, the final year for Lima cobs. Tough to find w/a full (3-digit) date like this. Nice piece.
