I'm just beginning to learn about cobs, as I have never seen one in person. But the question crossed my mind, along the eastern north American coastlines, just how many miles inland have Spanish cobs been recovered by like minded treasure hunters?

Thank you for the response. I suppose that it may very well be within the realm of possibility that I may find 1 one of these days. I am on the eastern side. Ohio River. Hopeful potential

The Vikings sailed up the Mississippi River, ie; Viking drawings discovered on cliffs and caves near Memphis,TN. If they did sail up the MS R. then I'm certain the Spanish could have,and during some explorations lost some cobs.
