    I was a stamp collector at age 8. I just wish my earlier collections still existed. I populated the collection through those offers of say 100 stamps for free, to get tagged up with their money games - send you something you gotta send back or pay for kinda thing.

    But, as with many friends here, we will proudly stand as collectors. Regardless of the loss in values. In my observation, I really do see stamp collecting as a dead hobby, and maybe someday it will come back.
