I really appreciate this post with the very informative video...as I WAS a stamp collector as a youth, but stuck with Coin Collecting as I got older....!

Philatelic company Stanley Gibbons bought it, and are offering fractionalised ownership at about £100 a piece. But that's all virtual, theoretical and a bit abstract because God only knows what you're supposed to do with that concept. You don't get anything in return. I guess Stanley Gibbons see it as an 'investment opportunity' - but really, this one stamp seems to be a status symbol these days, if anything.

Still, it makes for a funny story!
