Anyone know what this "virtual currency" is? I read it went from $13 January this year to over $1,000 now !!!!!! someone is making a killing, but how? Some services accept payment in "bitcoins".

I believe that the gold rush is over. If you bought in 2010 you could have made a lot of money.

in short, I think it's like having a Pre Paid Credit Card that gains & Looses interest.

One day it may be worth $1000 the next $20.00
    & the next $1000,000

Due to the latest Increase & the News the FBI can't even crack Who owns how much,
or what they spent it on, has increased it's Power.

but will eventually threaten it's longevity

Bit coin is an internet currency.

The price fluctuates because there is a finite amount in circulation. That amount is about $21,000,000.

It is primarily used in internet transactions.

it is very volatile. Just this fall, up 50% on good news from the U.S. and down 30% on the bad news that China will not allow it.

That said there is this rich cat selling his mansion for bit coin.

Looks like bitcoin might go down. China put a clamp down on digital currency.
