This is only the second time I've found a small park that has never been scoured by people with metal detectors. I covered just under 25% of it. Will go back again ASAP!

Hi, I'm new to metal detecting and am wondering if a 1909 park is a good place to find silver and gold and jewelry. It's not a huge park but a good size, it get a good amount of traffic. I saw a guy metal detecting there once. Also, what are the best places to look? Under trees? Picnic areas...

I found 2 sterling silver rings at one tot lot!!! These are my first ever real rings! This one I thought was fake because of the cheap jewel, but then I cleaned it and saw that it had a hard to see 925 on it. I hope to find better quality silver and find my first gold soon. :)
