New user with ACE 250. What sound or setting for jewelery

Hey, in jewelry mode you'll hear 2 tones. The standard beep and belltone. Gold items will beep and show up between the nickel and penny icons, silver items will ring in the coin range. Keep practicing, your next great find is just around the corner!!!!! ;D

one other thing about the ace and jewelry........rings and things dont always give such a rock solid reading on your target id. you kind of have to dig everything if you are seriously looking for jewelry. it sometimes can be mistaken for junk.

I use all metal mode then decrim out the first knotch [ iron] Then I dig every signal, I dont even look at the read out,waste of my time. Sure I like to hear those high tones, but a peice of iron at 1 foot sounds like a silver dollar at 4 inches.
Once I get the area clean I turn up the power and look deep.
