    WOT (Wild Orange Thing Coil)

Does anyone know how these attach to the excalibur II? I seen a modification, but it doesnt look safe and I dont want to lose my prize detector. Any feedback on the coil or how it installs would be appreciated.

Re: WOT (Wild Orange Thing Coil)

You have to either splice it to the Excals existing cable, about a foot out from the controls is what I recommend, or open up your controls and solder it to the circuit board. I personally prefer the splice as there is no chance of causing a leak by going into the controls, but it is just my personal preference. I have 2 Excals, one has a WOT spliced on using waterproof connector, the other has a Sunray S-12 hard spliced on to the cable.....Any I add in the future will be done that way...

I have a SEF 12"x15" Butterfly coil on order now for my next mod..............
