Will a hot head coil for a GTA work on a freedom ace plus. It has the same plug?

    Re: hot head coil

The machines would have to be the same frequency and the resistance and inductance values would have to be the same or real close to the same for both the send and receive coils. Also the connector pins for the send and receive coils would need to match the pins for the other detector.

As John stated, NO. Even though pins might look like they match, Send and receive might not be in the same pins. Coils have to be matched to each detector to operate anywhere near as they were designed.
