Hi my garrett ace 150 is acting strange on 4 bar sensitivity

Hi TH's can anyone help me iv got a garrett ace 150 which has been fine but yesterday it started acting strange, if i put it on full sensitivity and move the coil in a circular wrist movement it beeps like mad but if i knock it down to 3 it doesnt do it? any ideas what this fault could be as i dont mind using 3 setting for sensitivity but if im losing depth id rather sort it now than later thanks again TH's

Tried different batteries, coil is securely wrapped, all clean, reset done,

Do you have a different coil to test it with? Try it away from the house with your cell phone off. Does it happen at different times of the day? (microwave trasmissions or ham radio)

Hi Sandman, it happens all the time, if i hold it out in front of me and put it on 4 bar then shake it slightly it beeps like mad and if i keep it straight and rotate the end it beeps again i dont have a mobile on me when detecting anymore lol and iv tried testing it in numerous locations sigh dont have a spare coil to test it with either, i went out today and found a few things on 3 bar i found an old penny 1910 a farthing 1904 and an old 42 bullet casing but im still wondering wether im missing anything without the 4 bar option
