    New Coil?

Hi All, I am looking to purchase a new coil for my Whites XLT. I have had it for at least ten years and am still using the original coil. I was wondering if there was a better one that would adapt to my XLT? Any suggestion would be appreciated...thanks John

I'm assuming you have the 950 coil now.You might pick up a 6" bullseye for trashier areas, but for open spaces the 950 works just fine.
No matter where you go,there you are.

the 950 coil has been matched to that detector. there's an old saying, If it ain't broken don't fix it.
but a 6 inch will work better in high trash areas, although you will lose some depth

Most definately the 6" coil, you'll be surprised by what you find going over your old spots with it because of masking and you won't lose much depth, Jhar

If you click on the White's logo at the top of TNet, you can select White's forum. They have discussions about coils for White's detectors, whether made by White's or another company. Best wishes, George (MN)
