Before I go cutting into my garrett headphone wires I kinda want to know what im getting into so I dont mess it up, I would like use my own headphones, what I would like to do is make an adapter for my own headphones from my garrett headphones. I also go into saltwater. Any help on how to go about it? I will buy an headphone adapter from garrett so I have two garrett headphone adapters,another question will the salt water ruin the garrett adapter?, im sure I will need to waterproof the adapters?, I also would like to hook up wireless adapter as well, im looking to buy underwater earbuds or water proof earbuds and somehow build it under the unit . Any help on how to go about all of this would be greatly appreciated. I dont want to use the blueheadphones. Want to make it for underwater detecting in the swimline at the beach
