I use Spyglass for navigating and pinpointing locations. It works just great for that.

I use Back County Navigator everything you need for tracking and mapping.

The Minelabs app is not the way to go. It records your position anywhere from 500 to 1000 feet from where you are. I tested this both with just the iPhone and also with an external GPS receiver attached to the iPhone. All my other land Nav apps put me within 6-14 feet. Minelabs failed miserably.
