Hi all, this is a big question: Wrap around effect
I am trying to understand it but is too hard, technically speaking I mean.
Someon can tell me why wrap around effect is present on Minelab machines, that works on time domain, if most of us know that is a phase frequency problem???
I dont' know if I was clear: my english is not great.
Daniele.

I got this answer officially from Garrett:

Good day Daniele.
Thank you for your interest in Garrett products. Technically yes, wrap around can occur due to overflow of a microprocessor's register value. However, ensuring this will never occur is one of the many basic items that a good programmer includes in their design. Certainly the programming of all Garrett products ensures this type of wrap around will never occur. I can't speak about other brands of detectors.

Best regards

I guess solved.

However it is very interesting for me...
